    Walk around the vehicle and look for dents, scratches, rust, cracked glass, or anything you want explained.

    Check all four tires for good tread, even wear, sidewall damage, and matching size.

    Try the headlights, turn signals, brake lights, mirrors, doors, liftgate, or tailgate.

    Sit in every row you expect to use and check comfort, seat belts, legroom, and car-seat access.

    Try the windows, locks, seats, heat, air conditioning, cameras, radio, screen, and charging ports.

    Start the vehicle and notice any warning lights, unusual sounds, smoke, strong odors, or shaking.

    Take a normal test drive and notice steering, braking, acceleration, shifting, ride, and visibility.

    Make sure parking, getting in and out, cargo space, and everyday controls work for your household.

    Confirm how many keys are included and whether the manuals, floor mats, charging cable, or other promised items are present.
